A fabulous an opulent Ermani Bulatti necklace.
Ermani Bulatti took the 80s by storm with exquisite designs like this Art Deco inspired necklace. It comprises a flat, tapering snake collar style with an oval centrepiece comprising rope edging, cabochon and baguette crystals (probably Swarovski) and a glowing domed cabochon of haematite. This stone is plush with a silvery streak in a coal-black colouration and stands out against the gilt of the necklace; it is vaguely faceted where it joins the metal and so has a sparkle despite its darkness.
The chain is adjustable for length and has a lobster claw clasp; it is signed on both finials. As with all Bulatti’s jewellery it is exceptional quality and of a style which never fades. A real piece of Art Deco style, affordable 80s design.

It may appear a little tarnished but the gilt is, as with many Bulatti pieces, aiming at a bronzed effect so really it isn’t tarnished at all. All stones present and correct and in excellent, bright condition. Signature is easy to read and the construction is solid.
